Warranty & Claim Policy ▶

This Warranty Policy governs all products sold by Bennett Truck Center and works together with our Returns, Cancellations & Order Policies. By purchasing from Bennett Truck Center, you agree to the terms below.

Third-Party Brands — Manufacturer Warranty Only

For third-party branded parts, all warranty coverage, where applicable, is provided solely by the part's manufacturer, under the manufacturer's own terms, duration, and claim procedures. Bennett Truck Center will assist in submitting manufacturer claims as a courtesy; the manufacturer's inspection and determination are final.

Bennett Truck Center & Hack Nation Branded Products

Bennett Truck Center branded and Hack Nation branded products — including Hack Nation long blocks and engine builds — are private-label products. Warranty on these products is administered directly by Bennett Truck Center. Coverage is limited to repair or replacement of the defective part itself, at Bennett Truck Center's option, for a period of twelve (12) months from the invoice date, unless a longer period is specified in writing at the time of sale. Certain product lines — such as new transmissions and new differentials — carry longer coverage, typically 3 to 5 years, as stated on the invoice or provided by the manufacturer. All other terms of this Warranty Policy — including Never Covered, Warranty Void Conditions, the Claim Process, and the Limitation of Liability — apply in full to branded-product warranty claims.

No-Questions-Asked Warranty (Select Products)

Select products — such as Bennett Truck Center branded turbochargers and exhaust manifolds — carry a No-Questions-Asked warranty, as designated on the invoice or product listing. Within the applicable warranty period, Bennett Truck Center will replace the failed part without requiring failure analysis. No-Questions-Asked coverage applies to replacement of the part itself only: it never covers labor, removal, installation, towing, downtime, or any other cost or damage listed under Never Covered, and the Limitation of Liability applies in full. The complete failed part must be received back by Bennett Truck Center, whole, before any replacement ships — this applies even under No-Questions-Asked coverage, and a clean ECM report (see ECM Requirements) is still required. No-Questions-Asked status applies only where expressly designated by Bennett Truck Center and does not extend to any other product.

Never Covered

Bennett Truck Center does not provide or reimburse, under any circumstances: labor (removal, installation, or diagnosis), towing, freight, travel, lodging, fluids, filters, machine work, rental or replacement equipment, downtime, lost profits or revenue, cargo loss, or any incidental or consequential damages.

Warranty Void Conditions

Any applicable warranty is null and void if the part or unit is: disassembled, opened, or tampered with in any way; installed improperly or by unqualified personnel; operated with insufficient or incorrect lubrication or coolant; subjected to overheating, contamination, abuse, misuse, neglect, accident, or modification; tuned or programmed above factory horsepower or torque ratings; used in racing, pulling, or other competition; used outside its intended application; or where the ECM has been erased, reset, or shows a logged critical event (see ECM Requirements). Proof of proper installation and maintenance may be required for any claim.

Claim Process

All claims must be submitted to Bennett Truck Center through our Support Request form or by phone or text at 737-204-9316 before any teardown, repair, or return, and must include the invoice number, engine serial number, and a description of the failure. Unauthorized teardown or repair voids the claim.

The standard claim process requires the part(s) to be returned, freight prepaid, to Bennett Truck Center or to the manufacturer, at Bennett Truck Center's direction, for inspection and failure analysis. Failure analysis typically takes an estimated 30 to 90 days from receipt, and no credit, replacement, or refund is issued until the analysis is complete and the claim is approved.

At its sole discretion, Bennett Truck Center may offer to evaluate a claim remotely by photos, video, email, or phone as a courtesy. Remote evaluation is never required of Bennett Truck Center, does not replace the standard process, and Bennett Truck Center may require physical return and full failure analysis at any time, including after a remote evaluation has begun. Customers may not withhold payment, offset, or charge back amounts owed while a claim is pending.

Mandatory Return Before Replacement

On every warranty claim, return, exchange, or swap — under every coverage tier, including No-Questions-Asked — the complete original part must be received back by Bennett Truck Center, whole and unaltered, before any replacement, credit, or refund is issued. No replacement ships in advance. If the original part is not returned, or is returned incomplete, the claim is denied in full (100%).

ECM Requirements

A clean ECM report showing no logged critical events is required for all warranty coverage. All warranties are denied where: (a) the ECM shows a logged critical event — including but not limited to overheat, low oil pressure, low coolant, or overspeed — experienced while the part was in service; (b) the engine is or has been tuned or programmed above its factory horsepower or torque rating; or (c) the ECM has been erased, reset, reflashed, or had data deleted. An erased or reset ECM is treated as concealment of a critical event and results in denial of the claim. Bennett Truck Center may, at its sole discretion, extend good-faith coverage despite any of these conditions; any such accommodation is discretionary, case-by-case, and is not a waiver of these requirements for any other claim.

Disclaimer of All Other Warranties

EXCEPT FOR ANY APPLICABLE MANUFACTURER WARRANTY AND THE BRANDED-PRODUCT WARRANTY DESCRIBED ABOVE, ALL PARTS ARE SOLD "AS IS" AND "WITH ALL FAULTS." BENNETT TRUCK CENTER DISCLAIMS ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. No employee, agent, estimate, or invoice creates any warranty on behalf of Bennett Truck Center unless designated as a warranty in writing and signed by an authorized manager.

Limitation of Liability

Bennett Truck Center's total liability arising from any part or order, under any legal theory, is limited to the purchase price of the part giving rise to the claim.

Commercial Use

Parts sold by Bennett Truck Center are intended for commercial heavy-duty truck applications and are sold for commercial use.

Governing Law & Venue

This Warranty Policy and all orders are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any dispute arising from any order shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Bexar County, Texas.

Effective date: October 5, 2026.

Returns, Cancellations & Order Policies ▶

These policies govern every order placed with Bennett Truck Center, including orders placed by phone, email, in person, or online. They match the terms printed on our estimates and invoices; by approving an estimate, paying an invoice, or placing an order, you agree to the policies on this page.

Estimates & Pricing

Estimates are a good-faith approximation of pricing and availability, based on supplier costs and availability at the time of issue. Pricing and availability are subject to change prior to payment. Estimates expire 7 days from the date issued unless otherwise stated in writing. Unless otherwise shown, estimates exclude sales tax and freight.

Payment & Order Processing

By approving an estimate, you authorize Bennett Truck Center to procure the listed parts on your behalf. All parts are new unless otherwise specified. Orders are placed with suppliers and processed only after payment has been received and cleared, unless credit terms have been formally approved in advance. For orders placed using Net Terms or credit card, shipment will not be released until a signed sales order approval and a fully completed, signed Credit Card Authorization Form (if applicable) have been received and verified. Bennett Truck Center reserves the right to hold shipment until all required documentation is properly completed. Title to goods remains with Bennett Truck Center until paid in full.

Estimated Dates & Delays

Any completion, build, ship, or delivery date provided by Bennett Truck Center is a good-faith estimate only and is not a guaranteed date. Time is not of the essence. No date is binding on Bennett Truck Center unless expressly designated in writing as a "Guaranteed Date" and signed by an authorized manager.

Bennett Truck Center is not responsible for delays of any kind, including without limitation delays caused by suppliers, manufacturers, vendors, builders, freight carriers, parts availability, backorders, core availability, quality-control holds, or circumstances beyond our control. Delay beyond an estimated date does not constitute breach and does not entitle the customer to cancel without the fees described in these policies.

Returns — Eligible Stock Items

Every return, without exception, is subject to a fee — Bennett Truck Center does not offer fee-free returns. Return requests on eligible stock items must be made within 30 days of delivery; after 30 days, returns are not accepted. To qualify, parts must be unused, uninstalled, in their original packaging, and accompanied by a receipt or proof of purchase. All returns require prior authorization — submit a Support Request or call/text 737-204-9316 before shipping anything back; items sent without an approved return authorization will not be accepted.

Approved returns are subject to the manufacturer's return policy and a minimum 25% restocking fee, plus all shipping & handling costs — including original outbound shipping (even when offered free at the time of sale) and return shipping — and any non-recoverable vendor charges, all deducted from the refund. Returned parts are inspected on receipt, and refunds are processed after inspection passes, on an estimated timeline of 30 to 90 days from receipt depending on the volume of returns being processed at the time.

Cancellations — Stock Items

Stock items canceled or refunded after payment or prepayment are subject to a minimum 25% restocking and/or cancellation fee, plus all shipping & handling costs and any non-recoverable vendor charges. Cancellation fees apply to the parts subtotal, excluding tax and core deposits.

Special-Order & Drop-Ship Items

Due to the nature of drop shipping and special-order procurement, deposits and payments on special-order items are non-refundable once the order has been placed with the supplier. No returns, cancellations, or refunds are permitted on special-order items, electrical components, custom builds, or items marked non-returnable by the manufacturer.

Custom & Special-Order Builds

Custom-built, special-order, performance, and made-to-order items — including engine builds and long blocks — are built to the customer's order and are not returnable. If the customer cancels after payment:

  1. Before component procurement begins, a 25% cancellation fee applies.
  2. After components have been ordered, coated, machined, or treated, a 50% cancellation fee applies.
  3. After assembly has begun, the order is non-cancellable and non-refundable.

Refundable core deposits are always returned in full on cancellation. Cancellation fees apply to the parts subtotal, excluding tax and core deposits.

Core Charges & Deposits

Where applicable, core charges are collected as a refundable deposit — not as a taxable sale of goods — to ensure return of the customer's used, rebuildable component after purchase of a replacement. Core deposits are credited in full or in part upon return of an acceptable core within the required return period, and are refunded in full on any approved cancellation. Full details: Core Return Policy.

Returned cores must match the purchased component type, be rebuildable and complete unless otherwise approved, and must not be cracked, windowed, seized beyond rebuildability, or otherwise non-repairable. Failure to return an acceptable core within the required timeframe may result in partial or full forfeiture of the core deposit.

Freight, Damage & Shortages

All shipments must be inspected at the time of delivery. Any freight damage or shortages must be noted with the carrier at delivery and reported to Bennett Truck Center immediately. Bennett Truck Center is not responsible for damages occurring during transit beyond assisting with the carrier claim.

Fitment & Customer Responsibility

It is the customer's responsibility to verify part numbers, specifications, fitment, and compatibility prior to purchase and installation. Bennett Truck Center is not responsible for incorrect parts ordered due to customer error.

Warranty

All warranty terms — coverage by brand, the No-Questions-Asked program, exclusions, void conditions, the claim process, mandatory return before replacement, and ECM requirements — are set out in our Warranty Policy. The Limitation of Liability and Governing Law & Venue sections below apply to every warranty claim.

These policies and all orders are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any dispute arising from any order shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Bexar County, Texas.

How to Start a Return or Cancellation

Submit a Support Request or call or text 737-204-9316 with your invoice number and the parts involved. Shipping Policy ▶

This Shipping Policy governs every shipment from Bennett Truck Center and works together with our Returns, Cancellations & Order Policies and Warranty Policy. By placing an order, you agree to the terms below.

Processing & Shipment

Orders are typically processed and shipped within 1–2 business days after payment has been received and cleared. Processing time does not include transit time. Items not in stock at our facility may ship directly from the manufacturer or supplier (drop-shipped). All processing, ship, and delivery dates are good-faith estimates only and are not guaranteed; the Estimated Dates & Delays terms of our Order Policies apply to every shipment.

Risk of Loss

All orders ship FOB Origin: risk of loss, damage, or delay passes to the customer when the shipment is tendered to the carrier at our facility or our supplier's dock. Title to goods remains with Bennett Truck Center until the order is paid in full.

Carrier Delays

Bennett Truck Center is not responsible for delays after a shipment has been tendered to the carrier, including delays caused by weather, carrier logistics or capacity, incorrect or incomplete addresses, holidays, strikes, or events beyond our control. Carrier delays do not qualify for refunds, cancellations, or damages, and do not entitle the customer to cancel without the fees described in our Order Policies. The customer's exclusive remedy for a delivery delay is to pursue the matter with the carrier; Bennett Truck Center will assist where it can.

Inspection, Damage & Shortages

All shipments must be inspected at the time of delivery. Visible freight damage or shortages must be noted on the carrier's delivery receipt or Bill of Lading at delivery, with photos taken before signing — failure to note visible damage at delivery may void eligibility for a freight claim. Concealed damage must be reported within 48 hours of delivery through our Support Request form or by phone or text at 737-204-9316. Keep all packaging materials and the item until the claim is resolved. Replacement or credit is issued only after the carrier completes its investigation and approves the claim; Bennett Truck Center will assist in filing.

Freight Shipments (LTL & Heavy Items)

Large or heavy shipments — engines, long blocks, transmissions, differentials — deliver curbside unless otherwise arranged in writing. The customer is responsible for providing proper unloading equipment (forklift or dock). Liftgate service, redelivery, detention, limited-access, or other accessorial fees assessed by the carrier are the customer's responsibility and may be billed after delivery.

Addresses

The customer is responsible for providing an accurate, complete shipping address. Bennett Truck Center is not responsible for shipments lost or delayed due to address errors, and any carrier fees for address correction or re-delivery will be billed to the customer.

Shipping Costs & Free Shipping

Shipping costs are calculated by size, weight, and destination. Where free shipping is offered, it applies only to the original outbound shipment. On any return or cancellation, all shipping & handling costs — including original outbound shipping even when offered free at the time of sale, and return shipping — are the customer's responsibility and are deducted from any refund, as set out in our Order Policies.

Refused or Undeliverable Shipments

If a shipment is refused or returned undeliverable, the customer is responsible for all outbound and return shipping costs, applicable restocking and cancellation fees under our Order Policies, and reshipment fees if the order is sent again. Bennett Truck Center may deduct these costs from any refund or credit.

Service Area

Bennett Truck Center ships within the United States only, unless otherwise approved in writing. Approved international shipments are subject to additional handling, customs fees, duties, and carrier conditions; Bennett Truck Center is not responsible for customs delays or clearance issues once a shipment leaves the U.S.

Force Majeure

Bennett Truck Center is not liable for any failure or delay caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including acts of God, severe weather, fire, flood, labor disputes, carrier failures, government actions, or supply chain disruptions.

Limitation of Liability

Bennett Truck Center is not liable for missed delivery dates, vehicle downtime, rental costs, lost business or income, or any incidental or consequential damages related to shipping or delivery. Bennett Truck Center's responsibility ends when a shipment is tendered to the carrier.

Core Return Policy ▶

A core is the used, rebuildable component you replace — an engine, long block, cylinder head, turbocharger, injector set, transmission, differential, or other rebuildable part. Where a core charge applies, it is collected as a refundable deposit, not as a sale of goods, and is held as collateral pending return of an acceptable core.

Return Window

Cores must be received by Bennett Truck Center within ninety (90) days of the invoice date. Deposits on cores not received by day 90 are forfeited in full on day 91. We send courtesy reminders as the deadline approaches, but meeting the window is the customer's responsibility.

What Makes a Core Acceptable

Core credit requires a like-for-like core: the same component type and the same or directly equivalent part number, model, and configuration as the unit purchased from Bennett Truck Center. To receive core credit, the returned core must: be like-for-like as described above; be complete and assembled, unless otherwise approved in writing; be rebuildable — not cracked, windowed, welded, seized beyond rebuildability, or otherwise non-repairable; have all fluids (oil, coolant, fuel) fully drained; and have all open ports capped or plugged.

A core that is not like-for-like — a different model, configuration, or component than what was purchased — receives no core credit. Bennett Truck Center may, at its sole discretion and on a case-by-case basis, issue a partial credit based on the value of the core actually received; any such partial credit is discretionary and is not a waiver of this requirement for any other return.

Packaging & Shipping

Palletized cores must be strapped to the pallet with a minimum of two straps and stretch-wrapped, and labeled with your company name and invoice number. For palletized cores, Bennett Truck Center schedules the return freight; where free core return is offered on your invoice, it applies to that scheduled shipment. Smaller cores ship by ground carrier per our instructions. Before shipping, submit photos of the packaged core, the core tag, and the Bill of Lading through our Support Request form — and keep a signed copy of the BOL. Cores shipped without prior authorization or documentation may be refused.

Inspection & Credit

All cores are inspected on receipt. Inspection and processing begin when the core physically arrives at our facility — transit time does not count. Core credit is issued after inspection confirms the core is acceptable and like-for-like. Processing is estimated at 30 to 90 days from receipt, depending on the volume of core and order returns being processed at the time. Core deposit refunds are issued by company check only. Core deposits are always refunded in full on any approved order cancellation.

Unacceptable Cores

If a core fails inspection, we will provide photos documenting the condition. The customer then has thirty (30) days to elect either return of the core at the customer's freight expense or scrapping of the core. An unacceptable core receives no credit, and an unclaimed core is scrapped after 30 days with no further obligation. Partial credit may be issued only with manager approval, at Bennett Truck Center's sole discretion.

Terms Of Service ▶

These Terms of Service govern every order, quote, estimate, and purchase from Bennett Truck Center ("BTC"). By placing an order, approving an estimate, paying an invoice, or using our website, you agree to these Terms and to our posted policies, which are incorporated here in full: Warranty Policy, Returns, Cancellations & Order Policies, Shipping Policy, Core Return Policy, and Privacy Policy. If these Terms conflict with a signed estimate or invoice, the signed document controls.

Commercial Use

BTC sells parts and components for commercial heavy-duty truck applications. Purchases are made for business and commercial use. Our website and services are not directed to children.

Orders, Pricing & Errors

All orders are subject to acceptance by BTC. Prices and availability are subject to change prior to payment. In the event of a pricing, description, or availability error — on the website, an estimate, or an invoice — BTC may cancel or correct the affected order and refund any amount paid for it; an obvious error does not constitute a binding offer. It is the customer's responsibility to verify part numbers, specifications, and fitment prior to purchase.

Payment

Payment is due per the terms on the estimate or invoice. Orders are placed with suppliers and processed only after payment has been received and cleared, unless credit terms have been formally approved in writing. Title to goods remains with BTC until paid in full. Electronic signatures and approvals are valid and binding.

Payment Authorization & Chargebacks

By providing a payment card or other payment method, the customer authorizes BTC to charge the amounts shown on the applicable estimate or invoice, together with any fees that become due under these Terms and BTC's posted policies — including restocking and cancellation fees, shipping and handling costs, freight accessorial charges, and forfeited core deposits.

The customer agrees to contact BTC and complete BTC's dispute process — via the Support Request form or 737-204-9316 — before initiating any card dispute or chargeback, and agrees not to initiate a chargeback: (a) for goods delivered as described; (b) for delays within the Estimated Dates & Delays terms of our Order Policies; (c) for cancellations of special-order or custom-build items subject to posted fees; (d) while a warranty claim is pending analysis; or (e) for any fee authorized under these Terms.

Any chargeback initiated in violation of this section is a breach of these Terms. BTC will contest it with the signed estimate or invoice, these Terms, delivery records, and communications, and may recover from the customer the disputed amount, chargeback and processing fees, collection costs, and reasonable attorney's fees, and may suspend the customer's account and any pending claims until the dispute is resolved.

Website & Content

The BTC website, product descriptions, photos, and branding are the property of BTC or its licensors and may not be copied or used commercially without written permission. Product photos are illustrative; actual parts may vary in appearance.

Warranties & Liability

Warranty terms are set out exclusively in the Warranty Policy, including its disclaimer of implied warranties. BTC's total liability arising from any part or order, under any legal theory, is limited to the purchase price of the part giving rise to the claim. BTC is not liable for labor, towing, downtime, lost profits or revenue, or any incidental or consequential damages. The customer agrees to indemnify BTC against third-party claims arising from the customer's installation, use, modification, or resale of parts.

Governing Law, Venue & Disputes

These Terms and all orders are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any dispute shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Bexar County, Texas. If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remainder continues in full force.

Changes & Contact

BTC may update these Terms from time to time; orders are governed by the Terms in effect on the order date. Questions: Support Request form or call or text 737-204-9316. Bennett Truck Center, 905 N Pine St, San Antonio, TX 78202.
